Mosport International Raceway is Canada's motorsports mecca. Located in Ontario, the facility features a 2.5-mile-long track, 1.5-mile-long driver training circuit and a nearly 1-mile-long kart track. Now Mosport also features new owners.
Canadian Motorsports Ventures has taken over ownership of the track. The business group was established by Corvette master wheel-man Ron Fellows. His group takes over control of the facility, which was previously owned by Panoz Motor Sports Group. Fellows and his team are happy to have Mosport under a Canadian-controlled business group, while the Panoz crew has expressed happiness in making the deal happen. Panoz owns the American Le Mans Racing series, which includes a stop in Ontario to race around Mosport, so the two groups will clearly be working together in the future.
