Britney Spears Dituntut USD 10 Juta

Britney Spears kembali tersandung masalah. Kali ini ia dituntut oleh kuasa hukum Brand Sense Partners atas pelanggaran kontrak atas 35 persen komisi yang disepakati sebagai bagian dari kesepakatan untuk mereka atas bisnis parfum Britney seperti Radiance, Midnight dan Curious.

Brand Sense Partners mengajukan tuntutan sebesar USD 10juta kepada Britney dan juga Jamie Spears, ayah Britney selaku pengelola keuangannya. Kasus ini terjadi setelah Britney meminta semua royalti penjualan parfumnya dikirimkan kepadanya dan membuat kesepakatan rahasia dengan Elizabeth Arden.

Perusahaan tersebut telah mengajukan permohonan dengan Pengadilan Tinggi Los Angeles meminta Britney untuk datang saat deposisi sehubungan dengan gugatan tersebut. Sebagaimana yang mereka katakan berulang kali upaya telah dilakukan namun diblokir oleh Britney.

Seperti dikutip dari dokumen yang diperoleh RadarOnline.com, Britney telah diberikan pemberitahuan untuk datang saat deposisi pada 29 April lalu, namun tidak bisa.

Sidang untuk mendengarkan kesaksian rencananya akan ditetapkan 11 Juli ketika Hakim memutuskan apakah akan datang di deposisi.
